Ruth Watkins is an experienced tutor working in Adult Learning as well as teaching privately. She also tutors on painting holidays, demonstrates and runs workshops around the country for a variety of Groups and Corporate Events. Ruth is also a regular freelance designer for Crafts Beautiful magazine and other craft publications.

Ruth's friendly and enthusiastic and approach will encourage you to embrace your creative side to all forms of  Rustic Country Style Folk Art.   The workshops aim to enable you to gain confidence and experience in a variety of painting techniques so that you apply your own individual interpretation to your work. Tuition is delivered through step by step demonstrations as well as one-to-one guidance and support in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

 "Hand Painted Rustic Cards" published by Search Press is Ruth's first solo book. It has receives and is bursting with clear step by step photographs showing you how to create over thirty different country style cards. Other titles include "The Ultimate Card Book" by David and Charles.

Ruth has also designed a range of collage and scrapbook papers in her unique rustic style. These can be used to make cards for all occassions, scrapbook pages and decoupage. All these products are available through the online shop.
